Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the Mansa Musa Express website and app (mansamusaexpressdelivery.com and food.mansamusaexpressdelivery.com) to book deliveries, order food, or work with us as a rider, restaurant or manager. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. Please read our Privacy Policy too.
1. Who we are
Mansa Musa Express Delivery is a registered business in Kumasi, Ghana, offering parcel and document delivery, food delivery and ride booking in and around Kumasi. Contact: admin@mansamusaexpressdelivery.com · P.O. Box 8897, Kumasi.
2. Your account
- You must give correct details (name, phone number, address) and keep your login private.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that give false information, abuse riders or staff, or break these terms.
3. Orders and deliveries
- An order is accepted when MME confirms it. Delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees; traffic, weather and restaurant delays can affect them.
- Prices and delivery fees are shown before you order. Food prices are set by the restaurant.
- Please give a correct pick-up and drop-off address and be reachable by phone. If the recipient cannot be reached, extra charges or a return of the item may apply.
- We do not carry illegal items, weapons, or anything dangerous. We may refuse or cancel any delivery we believe is unsafe or unlawful.
- Declare high-value items before booking. Please package items properly.
4. Payments
- You can pay by card or mobile money online through our payment partners (Paystack and Hubtel), by mobile money transfer to MME, or in cash where offered. Available options are shown at checkout.
- Online card and mobile money payments are handled by Paystack or Hubtel. MME does not see or store your card number or mobile money PIN.
- The amount charged is the amount shown for your order, in Ghana cedis (GHS). An order is marked paid only after the payment is confirmed.
- Food orders paid straight to a restaurant’s mobile money number are a payment between you and that restaurant.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel an order before a rider has picked it up. Once food is being prepared or a parcel is on its way, we may not be able to cancel it or may charge for work already done.
- If we cancel your order, or we cannot deliver it, we will refund any online payment you made for it.
- If something goes wrong (wrong, damaged or missing item), contact us within 24 hours with your order code. We will look into it and, where we find the fault is ours or the rider’s, refund or fix it.
- Approved refunds go back to the method you paid with. Online refunds can take a few working days to appear, depending on your bank or mobile money provider.
6. Riders
- Riders must be verified by MME before taking deliveries, must carry a valid licence and ID where the law requires them, and must follow traffic laws.
- Riders pay MME a commission on completed deliveries, at the rate and on the schedule shown in the app. Unpaid commission can lead to the rider’s account being limited until it is settled.
- Riders must treat customers’ parcels and food carefully and must not open or use them.
7. Restaurants and managers
Restaurants are responsible for the quality, safety and accuracy of the food they sell. Managers who use the MME dashboard may be on a free trial and then a paid plan; plan prices are shown in the app, and a plan is active from the time payment is confirmed.
8. Our responsibility
We take reasonable care of your orders. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by things outside our control (for example road closures, weather, network or power outages, or incorrect addresses). Where we are at fault for a lost or damaged parcel, our liability is limited to the value of the item as declared at booking, up to the amount allowed by law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Ghanaian law that cannot be limited.
9. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no fake orders, no abuse of riders, staff or other customers, no attempts to break into the system, and no use of the service for anything unlawful.
10. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using MME after a change, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Ghana after we have first tried to resolve them with you directly.
